Everywhere, the industry tells us to vibe ship. Everyone ships. Ship faster. Ship daily. Ship before you're ready. I've shipped a lot of containers full of nothing, and learned that slow at the front is fast at the back.
Most of what gets called leadership is optimization with a charisma coat of paint. Real leadership shows up when the compass fails. When the lighthouse goes out. What you find underneath you in that moment is the only foundation that ever mattered.
Every founder I meet is building community. Most of them aren't. A community can ask something of you...that's the test, and it's the one almost nobody passes. Audiences are useful. They just aren't the same thing.
